Antoinette Shine-Alley

On Thursday, August 29, 2019, Antoinette “Tony” Shine-Alley left this old world and all it’s suffering behind and went to her glorious new eternal home.

Tony was born July 29, 1948 to Cecil and Medina Shine.  She and her only sister, Wanda, grew up and attended school in Los Angeles County.  She graduated from Centennial High School in 1966.  She accepted Christ into her life at an early age and was a long-time member of Ephesians Church of God in Christ in Compton, where she married Vincent Ray Alley, who proceeded her in death. 

Tony was a dedicated employee of the State of California for over 30 years before she retired.  She was known for her friendly personality and cheerful smile.  Although she had many health challenges, Tony was a devoted mother to her only son, Vincent Lawrence Alley, until the end.

Antoinette is survived by her only sister, Wanda Shine, her son, Vincent Lawrence Alley, a granddaughter, Porscea Alley and a new great-granddaughter, affectionately known as “CeCe”, and a host of other family and friends.  She will be greatly missed.
