Bobbie Halcromb Mcgarity

Bobbie Halcromb McGarity was born on July 04, 1943 to Robert Williams and Ethel Mae Rhodes in Shreveport Louisiana.  She was the youngest of 4 children, which included sister Jessie Mae, brother James and sister Hazel.  Bobbie was brought to California at 3 months  old and was a resident of Los Angeles for all her life. She attended and graduated from Jordan high school.

Bobbie married Barrett DuBois Halcromb in 1957 and had 5 children, Joy, Audrey, Kevin, Barret, and Damon. She was employed by Los Angeles School District where she served dutifullly for over 25 years prior to retiring. Bobbie married Charles McGarity in 1977 until his passing in 1986.

Bobbie passed away on April 10, 2018 at age of 74, She was a caring loving and dedicated mother, who will be greatly missed.  Bobbie is survived by 4 children 19 grandchildren , 32 great-grandchildren, 2 great great grand children, numerous family and friends.
