Michael Dennis Murray

Michael D. Murray, born February 25th, 1949 in Bremerton, Washington, passed away on March 12th, 2023. Mike is survived by his loving wife Glendora, his son Bryan (daughter in-law Kristy), and his daughter Kathryn, and his three grandchildren Megan, Austin and Aaron. He also leaves behind his brother Paul and sister in-law Marva, his sisters Cheryl Spangler and Lori Dolman as well as many nieces and nephews. All of his family was truly the light of his life. Mike was a proud Veteran who honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Although he was a long time resident of Long Beach, California he never forgot his roots in the Pacific Northwest, and was an avid Seahawks football fan. He enjoyed traveling across the country to see new places with his wife and family. He also loved nature and being out in the mountains and trees where he felt the most at peace. Mike was a wonderful person, inside and out. He was loved greatly by many and will be missed intensely by all that knew him. His bright light will shine within us all, forever more. Services will be held at Destiny Funeral Home in Long Beach, California at Noon to 7pm on March 24th, 2023.
