Samuel Craig Holt

Samuel Craig Holt (age 71) passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones in Palm Desert, California on November 1, 2017 . He was born in Murray, Utah on November 7, 1945. Sam spent most of his life in the South Bay . He worked at Ideal Glass in Torrance for almost 42 years. He enjoyed a beer or two at his local watering hole the (Zebra Room) where he would share stories and make people laugh. He enjoyed playing golf but loved spending time with his beautiful bride, Barbara, and their family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; his devoted daughter, Tami Wessels and her husband, Rob ; his grand children, Tyler Wessels and his wife, Courtney; and Kaycee Wessels. He had one great grandchild that he adored, Carter Wessels , His grandson, Corey Wessels , passed away in 2016. He is also survived by his brother, Gary , and his wife, Sharie, and many nieces and nephews. Sam the Man will be missed for his quick wit, his great sense of humor and the love he brought into everyone's heart.  His services will be held Saturday, November 18th,  2017 at 10:00 am at Destiny Funeral Home at 5443 Long Beach Blvd, Long Beach, Ca 90805
