Michael Edward Wall

Michael Edward Wall, age 49, was a longtime resident of Long Beach, CA succumbed to cardiac arrest; died while in the line of duty on April 30, 2021.   Michael served as a veteran career officer with the Los Angeles County Probation Department for 14 years.  As an officer with the juvenile division, Michael strived to serve as an empathetic counselor and a role model to youth offenders under his charge.   Michael was in the midst of faithfully executing his pledged duty at the time of his sudden passing.  He is survived by his 14-year old daughter, Aubrey Wall, his brother, Sylvester Wall, Jr., and his three sisters, Dionn Wall, Jewel Smyth, and Angel Smyth.    A repast reception will be held immediately following the interment, hosted by Michael’s family at 1062 East 16th Street Long Beach CA 90813.  Smiles and cheer are recommended while sharing memories of this kind-hearted, and humble man.  Michael Wall was a beloved father and brother, loyal friend, and a dedicated colleague to many.
