Rashad Richardson Obituary

Rashad Larell Richardson was born on March 18, 1980 to Joseph Ernest Robinson III and Toya Geneva Robinson in San Diego, California. His sunset was in the city of Long Beach, California where he grew up from childhood to manhood. He enjoyed life as much as the people that he encountered each and every day. He loved working on things that were broken to make them work better before they were broke. Electrical problems were the ones he seemed to love the most as well as mechanical problems. I referred to him as the Jack of all Trades and the Master of none. A true Handyman in the sense that he was able to fix, repair, rebuild, construct or do anything that needed to be done to get the job done. He had a tough guy persona and a kind heart, not be mistaken for weakness. His loyalty was beyond approach as he demonstrated it daily to all that surrounded him. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.  Caring, loving and giving are the best words to describe him. He was that person that would help you in your time of need. As Rashad was a new Father to his son Rayshawn you could see how he embraced life to its fullness as he and Karnisha embarked on their journey together as new parents and family. Rashad enjoyed family gathering, holidays, birthdays and many fun occasions as well as celebrations. As a diehard sports fan Rashad favorite team was Dallas Cowboys he could quote statics on every player on the teams as well as the names of the coaching staff.  You lived life on your own terms and followed your own path as a man should. I only wish I could have made your journey easier and lessened your pain. You left us too early as your work here has been completed and our father has called you home.

Rashad is survived by his father Joseph, his brother Britain, his son Rayshawn and his mother Karnisha and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as friends and co-workers to many to list.

Rashad is preceded in death by his Mother Toya, Grandfather Joseph, Grandmothers Verrah and Mary, Aunts Sandra and Demetra and a host of cousins.
