Sokhom Ban Obituary

Sokhom Ban

"Sokhom Ban, daughter of By Chhim and Ngoch Mak was born on May 01, 1965 in Cambodia. From Cambodia she went to Thailand, then to Chicago Illinois where she
met her husband Richard Ban and had her first son Bailey Ban. The family later moved to San Jose California then to Long Beach, California where her daughter, Jennifer Ban
and son Norman Ban were born."   -Jennifer Ban- Daughter

"My mom, she was the kindest hearted woman I have ever met. She’s such a sweet woman. Anywhere she goes people always love her. She loved my wife like she was her own daughter and I am blessed to have had such a great mother. " -Bailey Ban-Son

"My mother was a kind and caring woman; always thinking about her family over anything else. She was a forgiving person; whenever her kids would screw up she would never stay mad. When we feel down she tells us that things will be okay. She had a tough life growing up; but made the best out of it. She would just enjoy being able to see her family happy."  -Norman Ban- Son

"My mother-in law was more than a mother–in law. She was one of my best friends. I loved the way she passed on her wisdom to me and my kids. I will never forget the way she played with them and talked to them. And as time goes on, I will not forget or allow my kids to forget her. May she rest in peace knowing that we love her and that she will always be in our heart."--Camellia Owen-Daughter-In law

"Sokhom was a loving mother of 3. She always made sure her kids were ok. Her love for her family was unconditional. She was loved everywhere she went. Although she was in a lot of pain she never let that get in the way of her being a good mother who always showed nothing but love and  care and support whenever her children needed it. She never did any harm or anything bad to anyone. She was just a good person all around. She was known for her big heart and she will always be remembered for that and she will be missed."  -   -Jennifer Ban- Daughter
